Delete your Duo Sort account

You can delete your Duo Sort account at any time, in the game or by email. You don't need to reinstall the game.

In the game

1. Open Settings in the game.
2. Tap Account.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. The game asks Delete account? Tap Delete to confirm (or Keep my account to go back).

Your account is deleted at once, and the game goes back to being a guest game on that phone.

By email

If you can't open the game, email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Duo Sort account", from the email address of your account. If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, write from the address Apple forwards to and tell us your player name. We may ask you to confirm the request, then delete the account within 30 days and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• your account: email address, sign-in IDs from Apple, Google or LuviDuo, and your password hash;
• your player name, birth year and saved game (levels, stars, coins, boosters, café, decor, Café Pass and what you bought);
• your friend code, friends and friend requests;
• your invites, invite rewards and the invite device hash;
• your tandem teams, pedals and requests for help;
• your notification devices and the record of notifications sent to you;
• your link to LuviDuo and your couple's Luvi in the game (your LuviDuo account itself is not affected);
• the copy of your account's progress on that phone.

What is kept, and for how long

• Purchase records on our server: kept for accounting, tax and refunds, as long as the law requires (in Romania up to 10 years), with your account ID removed.
• Invite statistics (which invite buttons were used): kept without your account ID until they are deleted, 120 days after they were made.
• Play in 2 rooms you were in: kept without your account ID until they are deleted, within two days.
• Event summaries and ratings: these are linked only to a random player ID of your installation, not to your account, and are deleted 90 days after the event edition.
• RevenueCat, which checks purchases for us, keeps its customer record of your purchases. Apple and Google keep their own records of what you bought, under their policies.
• Crash and bug reports (Sentry), kept up to 90 days, and gameplay statistics (GameAnalytics), kept up to 2 years and sent only if you allowed them, are linked to the random player ID, not to your account.

To have the RevenueCat record, crash reports or gameplay statistics deleted too, ask us in the same email (or later at [email protected]) and we will delete them.

Playing as a guest?

Without an account, nothing about your progress is on our server: it is only on your phone, and deleting the game deletes it. For any other data, see the Privacy Policy.
