Short answer: for a long distance relationship, LuviDuo is a free couples app for iPhone and Android that shows a countdown until you see each other right on the lock screen, plus your partner's mood, your distance and the drawings you send. If you mainly want guided conversations, Paired is the usual pick; for watching films together, use a watch party app next to it.
When you live apart, the small things matter: knowing how long until you see each other, seeing their mood, getting a drawing on your screen in the middle of the day. That is what LuviDuo is built around.
What helps when you are apart
- Until we meet: set your next reunion and count down the days and hours, on your lock screen or home screen.
- Distance: see how far apart you are. Sharing is optional, only your partner sees it, and you can turn it off at any time.
- Photo Moment: send a real photo, taken now, that opens only when your partner sends one back.
- Drawings and notes that land straight on your partner's home screen widget.
- Mood: share how you feel and see theirs at a glance.
- Games for two phones: Do You Know Me?, Scribble Duel and Truth or Dare. See the games.

Games for long-distance couples
Every LuviDuo game is played across two phones, so distance does not matter: answer Do You Know Me? questions about each other, draw and guess in Scribble Duel, play Truth or Dare with the Soft and Fun packs, or swipe through movies until you match on what to watch on a call. 40 Truth or Dare questions to start with.
Something to look after together
Long distance can feel like waiting. In LuviDuo you also raise a little creature called Luvi together. It grows on the days you both show up, which gives you a shared thing to do every day, not just something to wait for.
About location
The distance feature is optional. If you turn on keeping the distance up to date, LuviDuo uses your location in the background so the number stays right while the app is closed. Only your partner sees it.
What is free: LuviDuo is free to download and use, with ads. The widgets, the games and your pet are all in the free app. LuviDuo Premium is optional, covers both partners, removes the ads shown before sending moments and before games, keeps all your shared memories, and adds monthly Sparks and faster wheel energy.
