Accessibility Statement

Last updated: June 12, 2026 · Effective: June 12, 2026 · Version: 1.0

LuviDuo is committed to making its mobile app and public website at https://luviduo.com/ usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility status of the LuviDuo app and website, the standards we work toward, the measures we take, known limitations, and how you can reach us for help or to report a problem. LuviDuo may also be referenced internally by the project name “DoMatch”.

1. Our commitment

We believe a couples app should work for every couple. We treat accessibility as an ongoing effort and aim to apply relevant accessibility best practices across new features and updates. This statement is reviewed when significant changes are made to the app or the website.

2. Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Our target is WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Within the European Union, we also use the harmonised standard EN 301 549 as a reference.

The LuviDuo public website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard. The LuviDuo mobile app additionally follows the native accessibility frameworks provided by the operating systems it runs on (the Android Accessibility APIs and Apple’s accessibility frameworks), so that platform features such as the screen reader, font scaling and contrast settings can be used with the app.

3. Scope of this statement

This statement applies to:

  • The LuviDuo public website at https://luviduo.com/, including the home page and legal pages.
  • The LuviDuo mobile application for Android and iOS, including couple linking, shared tasks, shopping lists, decisions, matching (food, movies, custom), games and Truth-or-Dare, Date Idea Roulette, Live Presence, notifications and account settings.

It does not cover third-party content or services that we link to or integrate but do not control (see Section 6).

4. Measures we take to support accessibility

  • Standards-based markup: the website uses semantic HTML, descriptive page titles, language attributes and meaningful link text.
  • Keyboard and assistive technology: we work toward full keyboard navigation on the website and compatibility with screen readers; in the app we rely on the platform’s accessibility services (TalkBack on Android, VoiceOver on iOS).
  • Visual design: we aim for sufficient colour contrast, scalable text that respects the user’s system font-size settings, and non-decorative images that carry text alternatives where needed. Purely decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Localization: the website is available in Romanian, English, Spanish and French, with the page language declared so that assistive technology can pronounce content correctly.
  • User control: location, camera, notifications and personalised advertising are optional and can be granted or revoked at any time in the operating-system settings or in-app settings.
  • Reduced motion: decorative motion and ambient animations are kept subtle, and we work toward honouring the operating system’s “reduce motion” preference.

5. Compatibility and technical specifications

Accessibility of LuviDuo relies on the following technologies working with your browser, device and any assistive technologies installed:

  • Website: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The website depends on JavaScript for some interactive features such as language switching.
  • App: the native Android and iOS accessibility frameworks, including the platform screen reader, dynamic type / font scaling, and system contrast settings.

LuviDuo is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and the recent versions of Android and iOS supported by the app. Using outdated browsers or operating systems may reduce accessibility.

6. Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • Real-time and timed games: certain mini-games, matching rounds and Truth-or-Dare interactions may rely on quick gestures or timing that can be difficult for some users. We are reviewing alternatives.
  • Maps and location features: interactive maps used for Date Idea Roulette (Google Places / OpenStreetMap) may have limited screen-reader support that is provided by the third-party map components.
  • Advertising: ads served through Google AdMob are controlled by the advertiser and may not meet the same accessibility level as our own content.
  • AI-generated content: suggestions from Date Idea Roulette (Google Gemini) are generated dynamically and we cannot guarantee their formatting in every case.
  • User-generated content: avatars, doodles, drawings, photos and custom prompts created by other users may lack text alternatives, because they are produced by users rather than by LuviDuo.
  • Decorative animations: some ambient visual effects are still being adapted to fully respect reduced-motion preferences.

If any of these limitations prevent you from using a feature, please contact us using the details below and we will do our best to help and to provide the information or service in an accessible alternative way.

7. Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of LuviDuo. If you encounter accessibility barriers, or need content provided in a different format, please contact us:

  • Email: [email protected] with the subject “Accessibility”.
  • Support page: https://luviduo.com/support/

Please describe the problem, the page or screen where it occurred, and the device, browser or assistive technology you were using, so we can reproduce and address it. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 5 business days and to resolve reported issues as soon as reasonably practicable.

8. Enforcement and complaints

If you contact us with a complaint about accessibility and are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to escalate the matter to the competent authority in your country. In Romania, the national consumer protection authority is the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (ANPC), https://anpc.ro/. EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Depending on where you live, additional national accessibility or equality bodies may apply.

9. Assessment approach

LuviDuo assessed the accessibility of its app and website by self-evaluation, carried out internally by the developer using manual checks, keyboard testing, screen-reader spot checks and browser accessibility tools. This statement was created on June 12, 2026 and is based on that self-assessment. It has not been independently audited by a third party.

10. Changes to this statement

We may update this Accessibility Statement as the app and website evolve, as standards change, or as we resolve known limitations. The current version is always available at https://luviduo.com/accessibility/

11. Provider
