Delete your LuviDuo account and data

1. Delete from inside the app

If you can access the app, open LuviDuo and go to Settings > Account > Delete account. Follow the confirmation steps shown in the app. This starts deletion of your LuviDuo account and associated data.

2. Request deletion without reinstalling the app

If you cannot access the app or already uninstalled it, send an email to luviduoapp@gmail.com with the subject "LuviDuo account deletion request".

Please include enough information for us to identify the account, such as:

• the email address used for the LuviDuo account;
• your display name if available;
• a short statement that you want your LuviDuo account and associated data deleted.

3. What is deleted

• Account/authentication records associated with your LuviDuo account.
• Profile data such as display name, avatar, gender if provided and app preferences.
• Partner links, couple state, shared tasks, decisions, game data, Truth or Dare answers/prompts, XP, streaks, leagues, rewards and cosmetics associated with your account where deletion is technically possible.
• User-generated content such as doodles, notes, live-presence images and uploaded photos associated with your account.
• Push tokens and notification preferences associated with your account.
• Location-related records associated with your account where stored by LuviDuo.
• Support records tied to your account email, unless needed for support, legal or security reasons.

4. What may be retained and why

After account deletion, we may retain a minimal pseudonymized anti-abuse record for up to 30 days to help prevent invite/referral farming, repeated abuse, fraud or circumvention. This record is not used to provide LuviDuo features.

We may also retain limited records if required for legal compliance, payment records, security, dispute resolution, platform requirements or proof that a deletion request was processed.

5. Processing time

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days after verifying the request. Complex requests, security investigations or legal obligations may require additional time. If we need more information to verify your request, we will reply by email.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Deleting your LuviDuo account does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the App Store. If subscriptions exist, you must cancel them separately through Google Play or the App Store to avoid future charges.
